Kissimmee set to accept $200K grant to create pilot program to help those experiencing homelessness

 Kissimmee is preparing to accept a $200,000 grant from the Florida Department of Children and Families to fund a pilot program aimed at addressing homelessness in the city. This grant will fund a pilot program that will support the Community Engagement Unit by providing services to assist individuals in difficult, high-risk situations and those involved in unauthorized camping on public property.
