Woman, 2 animals die in Palm Bay house fire, officials say

An elderly woman and two animals died on Tuesday in a house fire in Palm Bay, according to firefighters. Palm Bay Fire Rescue said they responded to the home on Furth Road NW around 2 p.m. When crews arrived, they found a single-story home with “heavy fire involvement” in one of the bedrooms.
